The intersection between the mind and body has always fascinated me. My goal in every session is to help my clients feel better than they did when they walked through my doors, whether that means calming the nervous system or alleviating physical pain. My style is to perform slow, sustained pressure so the body can tap into the parasympathetic response and fully relax, though I will adjust my techniques to accommodate my client’s individual needs. I do specific work on particularly tense areas and often incorporate stretches into my session. This profession is deeply rewarding because I see clients learn to take measures to heal themselves. I got my B.A. in psychology at Earlham College in 2015. I went to massage school in Asheville, North Carolina and hold licenses in Kentucky and Ohio. I am trained in deep-tissue and Swedish massage.
Beyond massage, I enjoy daily meditation, hula hooping, creative writing, and spending time with my family’s miniature donkey. On my growth and self-healing journey, I have learned that the greatest gift is presence. I will give you my full attention, create a safe space to perform therapy, and always listen to you.
